Pricing
Every price on this page is the price you’re billed.
The plans below are read from the same catalogue your invoice is made from, so what we advertise and what we charge cannot drift apart. Rates for our first restaurants are agreed with them and held.
Plans
Pick the plan that fits how your place runs.
A flat monthly fee where there is one, a small fee per paid order, and a share of sales — never of tax or tips. A trial covers the first days on a plan; after it, the rates apply. Every plan includes the whole system; what differs is the modules, the capabilities and the limits.

Prices are in US dollars. Your card processor’s fees are paid to the processor, as for any card sale, and are not ours.
Design partners
Our first clients are design partners, not customers.
Restaurants and food trucks joining now help decide what the product becomes, and are treated accordingly. Here is the deal, both halves of it.
What you get
- Preferential rates, held as we grow — nobody who was early pays more later.
- Setup done with a person: menu, tables, codes and payments put in place together.
- A direct line to the founder, not a support queue.
- A say in build order. What early restaurants report broken or missing is what gets built next.
What we ask
- Tell us what breaks, what's missing, and what your staff actually do on a Friday night.
- Candour when something could be better. A frank debrief after a Friday night is worth more to us at this stage than money.
What you're getting
The whole system, not a module of it.
There's no feature ladder to climb. Early clients get what the product does, as it grows.
QR ordering for every table
Guests scan, browse your menu, customise their order, and pay from their own phone. No app to download.
Orders straight to the kitchen
Every ticket arrives with the table, the timing, and the special requests already attached — no handwriting, no relay — on a display built for the pass.
A menu you control
Items, categories, photos, and customisation options. Change a price at four and it is live at five.
Your own payment account
Connect your Square or Stripe account and take cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash through it. The money is yours and goes to you directly.
Setup, with a human
We'll get your menu, tables, and QR codes in place with you. Early access means we are not handing you a signup form and wishing you luck.
Straight answer
The money questions
- Which payment processors? Do I keep my own account?
- Square or Stripe — your own account, connected to Gilded Plate — plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Every card payment settles into your account directly. We never hold your guests' money, and a card number never reaches our servers; the processor's own checkout form handles it.
- Can guests pay cash?
- Yes. A guest can choose to pay at the counter instead of by card. Their order waits in a Take payment queue until someone on your team takes the money and enters what was handed over — the change owed is worked out for them — and only then does it reach the kitchen. Cash is a per-location setting, so a dining room can take card only while the counter takes both.
- Is there a contract or lock-in?
- No lock-in. Your payment account is yours and can be disconnected from Settings at any time, and your menu and order history are yours to take with you. Early access is an invitation and a conversation; the terms of service say the rest, in plain language.
